Haha, you couldnt really make me pick just "one genre" of music.

Well lets see, 60s 70s 80s 90s 00s rock, Oasis, Motown, Hip Hop, Rnb , Michael Jackson, Rave like Calvin Harris, Feel good music and even some opera!

Hows that for some playlist :)

I listen to pretty much everything except for country. I've been in an indie band, metal band, and an acoustic project previously.

When I'm jamming on my guitar and playing along or just getting in the guitar mood, I'll listen to some Hendrix, Incubus, RHCP, etc.

When I'm at parties I'll throw on some cliche clubbing rap/hip-hip so everyone can dance/grind and party... like Lil' Wayne, Akon, DJ Khaled, etc.

When I lift or I need to get pumped, I listen to heavier music like As I Lay Dying, Hatebreed, Throwdown, etc.

Summertime chillin' = Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, Bob Marley, Jack Johnson, Pepper, DMB, etc.

Throw on some Smashing Pumpkins, Silversun Pickups, Arctic Monkeys, Cage The Elephant, White Stripes...

I also listen to different types of techno like Hardstyle, Jumpstyle, UK Hardcore, etc.

As a musician, I love music in general. Like I said, I don't listen to country nor is it near my favorite style of music, but I respect it and understand why people like it.

Stuck firmly in the past for the most part:

70s/80s Heavy Metal, Extreme Metal, Old style punk rock (not pop-punk or emo), 80s pop, shoegaze, post-punk/rock and loads of fucking weird avant garde stuff. Little bit of modern pop and dance/techno music if it hits the spot, which it rarely does...

I into screamo metal.
Try this bro, I listen to this band call August Burns Red, and play some of their songs. Listen to the song, "Truth of a Liar" (best part is 3:10 till the end) they'll listen to it and they'll enjoy it. (even a lot of girls who aren't into this sort of music.) Most of the time they will ask to listen to another song. I will neg saying something like, (Jeez everything has always been handed down to you hasn't! And I'll do a compliance test right after I neg but before they respond. I'll say something like (Well not without a thumb war! and I stick out my hand.) Then I'll play Meridian by August Burns Red and I'll escalate to a massage on my bed. (since I don't have any chairs in my room ;) . ) and 9/10 I get laid.

Anything with a catchy melody and great vocals.

I'm really into horror punk, the Misfits in particular.

Megadeth and Strapping Young Lad are two of metal's best bands.

Hed Kandi!!!! It realy is my favorite House, club, balearic label company. Most sexy house music of all time!

it includes => twisted disco (dirtier, erotic clubbin house), general house, Ibiza and summer house, beach house, Disco Heaven, Nu Disco.

anyone heared of or know Hed Kandi?

I also like Nu Disco a lot. it's a mix of old disco music with electro. you can compare it to some songs of Daft Punk.

So in short: Hed Kandi, other house, Nu Disco and indie dance, indie pop and rock

Well I love a lot of music. I have been raised with parents who listen to a wide range of genre. From Rachmaninov to Led Zeppelin and so on. So I like many different genre. But I'm pretty much a minimal lover. So I have always been in to this kind of scene the most.
