I have been balls deep at this goal for a few years. The pickup community got me so into self help that to me...if I can get good at this women stuff then I could just as well achieve the same success with being financially free. I don't go out as much as I used to chasing girls because this is my main focus right now. Ironically becoming a busy guy not focusing on girls actually gets you more girls. Go figure.

Fast Lane Millionaire by MJ Demarco - Ignore the markety title. This book is legit. There is a forum too that I recommend for you make some progress journals. It is so well written and it will get your creative juices flowing.

The Four Hour Work Week by Tim Ferris- The fast lane book above ^ shoots down this book as a book that cuts corners etc. Just ignore that part. It's more about working smarter not harder, working less and obtaining the freedom that passive income can provide. It will give you some business models that can be passive. A little outdated now, but search 'how to make passive income' into google and check out some of the business models.
Both books will convince you that this work life is just an absolute rape of your time and make you realise how short your life is. You spend half of your life asleep, then you spend half of the conscious part at work making your boss rich. Then...spend that remaining time watching 'reality' TV crap and getting drunk at the weekend. It will also talk about how school education is a complete farce. You don't learn anything about business in high school but you are forced to lean the stem cells of a fucking plant.
I have failed a lot. I have spent $10k on ideas that I failed and I even made a little passive income. When I finish work, I get to work again. I am so busy these days. I feel in the next few months my passive income is going to give me the freedom to quit my job and travel the world. Essentially retire armed with the ladies man skill in the arsenal too.
I see pickup and wealth work the same way, I have been in the rejection stage over and over and earned a little along the way
I know the people here that like their jobs will challenge this, but I am in my 30's now, I am really feeling the pressure to actually do what I want to do in life. If you would do your job for free, then i will believe you that you enjoy your job.
