Searched and searched again and haven't found much to answer this question. Also for how big this site is and how many similar questions there are I am quite surprised there aren't many more sticky threads.

I love using aftershave because it makes my face feel nice and smooth but but the scent of all of them I have found tend to mask the scent of the cologne i wear. I normally wear gucci sport cologne because I like how it smells and have never had a comment about it from a woman that was not "you smell nice" said with a smile. I am trying to find an aftershave that that has very little to no scent but still makes my face soft and smooth.

any ideas on what to use or maybe alternative ideas here?

Also... if anybody could tell me how to search thread titles instead of words in posts in the thread that would probably help a hell of a lot

bump for ideas? Or... how could i turn this in to a good opener? maybe something a little different than the 2 colognes on the wrist one

You wear both at the same time? That's interesting.

I usually wear one or the other my cologne is "Platnium Issue No.1" (Got it from PacSun a while back and its lasted a long time (almost 2.5 years) and it kind of has a "beach smell to it"

My aftershave is "Stetson cooling moisture." More intense smell than my cologne has this type of woodsy/rustic/leather smell. A lot more masculine than my cologne.

Which one I use depends on what type of clothes I'll wear that day/where I'm going. If I'm going to class or a laid back party/club etc. I'll wear my cologne (I would say I wear that about 85% of the time.) Vise versa if I need to make a strong impression, going formal/black tie or someplace more upscale I'll use my aftershave.

As for the post shaving part I usually will rinse my face with cold water to tighten the skin and then apply a light-non scented moisturizer (I use "Gold Bond Ultimate Essentials" its a body/hands/face all in one type moisturizer) if I'm going to wear cologne that day so my cologne isn't over powered, or if I'm putting on my aftershave that day I'll skip the cologne and just use deodorant.

I love str8 and denim-black colognes
