Will it help? Maybe, it could be a conversation starter.
Do you need one? No. If you're relying on a watch to help your game, then save your money and just go out and practice chatting to girls.

In saying that, a watch can help to put an outfit together. I have a few different watches - one is silver, quite expensive, and I wear that when I'm wearing my suit, or more formal evening wear.

But casual wear, I have a brown leather strapped watch which I colour co-ordinate with brown shoes and belt if I'm wearing those, and otherwise I wear a white plastic watch which is pretty funky and goes with everything. This is quite cool and does get commented on every now and then, but usually only after I'm already talking to the girl.

A while ago I wore a pretty swanky watch, mind you this was before smartphones were around, and it helped get me laid. I flat out asked what gave these women a good impression of me and they said "You had a nice watch, not many guys have that." Keep in mind these were wealthy women...

Basically it won't get you laid but it helps... A bit depending on the woman. It was a sign of status, still is I guess but to a lesser extent as to what it once was(Now it's all mobile phones).

I wear a Seamaster. In some crowds, everyone has nice watches, so its better to not wear one at all of its not nice.

At a dive bar, nobody will notice.

In mixed crowds, a girl that is aware and seasoned enough to know what it is will notice and probably tell her friends about it. I've had hundreds of complements from strangers, male and female.

I also have seen guys wear some retarded watch that cost $20 and is bright green and trashy girls will think its awesome.

wooohoo! yesterday i met a lady and i was wearing a nice suit and a watch... i bought one on authenticwatchstore.

She noticed my watch when we were having dinner and i felt she bacame warmer , eventually we made out, so somehow my watch helped get me laid.

It helps, just as ever little thing helps. I have a couple very nice watches, they make for some conversation topics, often with men (which helps social proof). However, do you research. A truly nice watch that will turn women's eyes is a very expensive purchase. You don't want to screw it up if you go that route.

Through learning game in order to become high value I really hope to be able to choose partners with integrity as well as great looks. I really would have reservations about a woman who cares about my watch enough to filter me out.

If a girl mentioned a swiss watchmaker I would totally challenge her based on the quality of Japanese automatics and the the Chronometer debacle of 1967.
