I am socially awkward, but that is only part of the huge problem. I have always been a lazy procrastinator and got bad grades in high school because of this. Thanks to that I am not in university right now, and even though I took some community college classes I got bad grades there too. So I work part time about 30 hours a week at a fast food restaurant now, still living with my parents and unsure what im doing with my life.

Sometimes, I fell like at 20, I should be more excited than nervous about my future, and the many possibilities, but good things require initiative, which I mostly lack. So what I want to do is get over my laziness, procrastination and video game addiction, and go on to live a good life. This may be the wrong website to ask about this, but if no one here can help with this, can someone point me in the direction of where to look for help with this?

PS. Please dont say "Getting laid can wait." Because im a 20 year old virgin, no it fucking cant.

Maybe you need to develop your self esteem. Sometime having low self esteem make us lazy.

You need to stop telling yourself that you have those characteristics, that's step 1. Look into some personal development stuff (the stuff like Tony Robbins or whatever). Spend 1/10 of the time on that as you do on things you want to quit and you will make progress, but you have to commit to it.

Unsuccessful people will laugh at personal development (whether internal or through structured learning) - ever wonder why they're unsuccessful? There are infinite possibilities in the world. Visualize who you want to be and how you want to be (go into your head and see yourself doing these things / use all 5 senses) every day, and every day take concrete actions toward your goals.
