If you're poor, I think you'll find what I'll say below very helpful. Not everyone will, and that's fine.

When I say poor, I mean to say financially, as in cash-in-your-pocket, lack of money, dough, moolah.
But, if you're poor with women, or this whole "pick-up" thing, then I'm sure this will help too.

Get a door-to-door sales job.

Start selling. Even if it's commission only. In this economy, the ability to sell is just golden. And you'll quickly build the skills that will serve you for the rest of your days in this life. 90% of selling is just learning to get past the "No, I'm not interested". You quickly get to understand facial expressions and body language behind a person's words. You'll know when to move on to the next door, unhindered, unmoved, unchanged... and when to pause, smile and say something like "That's funny you're not interested. You know the last person who said that to me quickly changed their mind when I told them why we are different."

Any type of sales job really....

I used to sell cars... I'll never forget when my sales manager told me "Selling cars is just like picking up girls... You have to get them to like you before you can fuck them."

I have a corner to corner job xP ...long nights low pay and crackhead love. Ultimate pua xD. Craigslist flipping also helps for overcoming anxiety. That and it lets you think on the fly as you try to negotiate.
