So these days I've been worried about my social circle. Currently this is how it looks:

- Alot of talk shit, talk about people.

- Some don't like some of the peoples in the group but hang with them anyways.

- In clubs, I'm the only one dancing and socializing with people. The others are at the bar.

- None of them have girlfriends or hang with any but I do.

Today I called up one of them and he told me to meet at this spot with an other. I go there and I get a call mid-ways he tells me the dude wanted his hair done at a friend and his friend already had many people in so I couldn't go. He told me they'll be back in 30 min. 30 mins turned into hours and they still weren't done. I just left after 3 hours of waiting for them.

What I don't get is, I know those guys for a long time and do those things anyways, I'm not mad but I think I've been hanging with a bad social circle. When we go out we usually drink, smoke, go to clubs/bars and hang in our neighborhood. I've seen people that used to hang with us come and go and not come back for a long while, one even told me that they're awkward at some point and could be doing better then slacking around.

I told myself the same, I could be hanging with other people then them. I just think I have a hard time connecting with people I haven't talked to for a while..

Have anything like this happend to any of you before or how would you connect with an old friend/friend? Share your thoughts could be helpful.

Go for a drink with a friend of a friend and meet their friends? Might sound stupid but I went from hopeless inept and lonely after breaking up with my girlfriend to someone with a brilliant social life and, of course, women
