I'm still in high school and I was reading a short version of "The 48 laws of power" by Robert Greene
I was thinking about law number 11: Learn to keep people dependent on you.
So what if I was in college and I needed a job to pay my tuition?
What would I choose: a job with a pretty good pay and plenty of employees or a job with a lesser pay and very few employees?
I'd go with the later instead of the former because of the following reasons:
-The boss needs me way more than I need him, so I can draw the line whenever he disrespects me.
-I can manipulate my boss this way by threatening to quit my job.
-By the same reason mentioned above, I can ask for a raise, preventing my boss from hiring more people.
-(Puts on scumbag hat) I can be employee of the month!
-I can get along with my boss better, that way I can get more privilege and maybe own his store or something later on.
I can boss my boss without bossing my boss! Yo dawg! XD
What do you guys think about that? _________________ You miss every shot you don't take.

(P.S. That same point appears to be the very reason why Division I athletes get so much better than Division IV athletes...the DI Coaches really have the bargaining power and don't need to deal with the petty B.S. the "Star" players throw @ them because they have so many players to replace them)
Is the store economically well off?
Does the personality type of the boss complement yours?
Have you got yourself super interested in this?

There are many ways you can keep people dependent on you. The most important thing you need to do is to DIFFERENTIATE yourself and make sure that your targets can get a specific thing they need from you and you ALONE.
Forget about regular stuff --
e.g. anyone can play the role of the "patient listener" but what can YOU offer that no one else can? Make this your USP and you will soon find that people will grow dependent on you. Male or Female.

They both show a manipulating aura on how to get what you want. It's pretty genius because they seem very logical however I bet no one things about it. You'r post is a great example of what the book has to offer. I love what you posted. How can we use that on women though? _________________ Check out my website www.selfblend.com

Particularly, one that's your boss. It sounds like a bad idea. _________________ "And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music." Friedrich Nietzsche
