Hello mPUA's

(I know I should have done this in the introduce section, but) I am a highschool junior trying to get into the game. I'm reading Neil strauss's book right now, and I'd like to get reasonably good before college.

Something I've noticed is that I'm running out of clothes that I WANT to wear - clothes that I'm excited to put on.

I try to dress well, jeans and khakis, nice t-shirts, henleys, ect.

Does anyone know a good place to get nice (high school style!) clothes. I want to peacock, but in a subtle way.

Thanks guys!

High school clothes are usually American Eagle, Aeropostale, Hollister, Abercrombie & Fitch, Campus Crew and Ed Hardy.

Not the biggest fan of those clothes since 3-4 guys would have the same shirt/sweater but if you can find some unique shirts and stuff, go for it. Marshalls, Winners, etc. carry cheaper clothing and you can find those brands there. Usually less styles as well so less guys end up with the same stuff.

High school tends to have a very conforming style, as mentioned above everyone wears the branded clothes that strech the name of the overpriced store across the front of their made in china abercrombie or hollister shirt that 9 other kids have. i work at hollister part time so i see on a regular basis what type of person is buying the clothes. Its rarely the trend setters or people that actually know how to dress but rather the type of person that just wants clothes quick and is willing to pay a considerable price for what the good looking workers of hollister and abercrombie etc etc lebel "cool". its good marketing by them but it wont make you stand out like your post said you wanted to. If your looking for something thats a bit cheaper i really like H&M for shirts and t-shirts (great fitting t-shirts). If your looking for something a bit more upscale try Club Monaco. Its got some really cool clothes and it strikes the fine balance between standing out and looking like a retard with feathers hanging off your sleeves. id say its my favorite place, you cant really go wrong there. J-crew also has some nice stuff. Good luck!

+1 on that, however, I will say that a well-dressed and fashionable man can work an item from A&F, Hollister, etc., into their wardrobe far more successfully than a high school/college guy who thinks that one shirt makes the outfit.

A well-dressed man has a complete look-it's not just the shirt, but the pants, belt, layers of clothing, shoes, and accessories. A well-dressed man's outfit tells a story, and you can tell who the well dressed men are immediately because they will be dressed from head to toe. In order to pull that off, day after day, you need an inventory of clothes that represents your personality, not just buying one or two good-looking shirts that end up being worn over a pair of lackluster jeans, sneakers, and white tube socks.

Speaking of white socks, never wear them. Unless you're going to the gym.
