Hey guys,

Okay so this thread is gonna serve two main purposes for me: 1) as a bit of a to-do list for myself and a reminder of how to keep building my attractive lifestyle; 2) to ask for tips/hints/advice on how to improve it.

Firstly, let's start with the positives and the stuff I do already that keeps my lifestyle relatively attractive (will seem like bragging a lil' but I just want you to have a full picture of me). FYI - I'm 17 years old.

1) I have been going to the gym 5-times-a-week for months and am in good shape and am now into Week 3 of the P90x Programme. Good body + figure + endurance, check.

2) Sport: I play for a Men's Football (Soccer) team & play 5-a-side games regularly with my friends. I also go to Boxing Training once/twice a week - learning to handle myself and get added fitness. I'm also a Black Belt in Karate (but stopped 2 years ago). I have also taken Street Dance lessons and use to love Choreographed stuff and have been told I have good rhythm.

3) Education: I'm a 'smart' guy for my age, good IQ, should get 3 As at A-Level and have accepted a place at Exeter University next year to study Management with Leadership (I have a Business head and I'm a good natural leader).

4) Social: I have a good social network. Pretty much everyone knows me at college and likes me, I have lots of friends and a good group of best friends around me. Top lads. I also go out to a lot of parties and meals with friends/people from college.

5) Appearance: I'm not ridiculously ugly but I'm no Zac Effron. I dress well and buy my clothes from Next, Topman or River Island (stylish). I also style my hair and people like the style in which I have it cut.

6) Background: I'm well travelled and was fortunate to go on lots of holidays abroad as a younger kid (advantages of having divorced parents ;) ). I'm a God on ski's .

Okay, so that's a bit about what I do now and why I think my lifestyle is fairly attractive. I do have a Girlfriend currently, Relationship is going brilliantly SPAM, but I'm tending to focus this thread on myself and not my interpersonal relations.

Now, here's the things I have identified that are either areas I'm working on / problems I need advice on:

1) I have no money. Solution: I'm currently looking to get a part-time job as my studies and life is fairly well under control now and I need the cash. I think having more expendable income will make it easier for me to have more fun.

2) No Driver's License. Solution: I've been learning for a while and test is in a couple of weeks. I think if/when I pass this will make my lifestyle more attractive by simply being able to drive.

3) Acne. I don't have bad acne, but I do get spots on my chin and some on my forehead (just like any teenager). I currently use a Moisturiser every time after I shave; I shower at least once a day; and when I shower I use Clearasil Deep Pore Facewash. I also use a CoverStick to mask my spots when I'm going out / to college. Do you guys have any other tips on reducing acne ?

4) Not tanned. I'm not 'Pale' but I don't have a tan anymore as I haven't been on a holiday in over a year. Solution - well aside from convincing my folks to take me on holiday . I'm looking to sunbathe A LOT this Summer ready for Uni. What do you guys think to fake tan ?

5) I'm short. Damn my genetics, but yes I'm only about 5' 7"/8". Not sure there's much I can do about this tbh. Any tips on appearing taller (without wearing heels :P).

6) I'm not 18 years old yet. Solution - birthday is in May, will open up a whole world of new opportunities to socialise.

7) I can't cook. Solution - this Summer I'm going to be learning 10 Cheap, Healthy and Quick meals from my folks (good cooks) to prepare me for Uni. I think being able to cook will be a great addition to my skillset.

8) Clothing variety. I wear good quality, fashionable clothes. But some people say I lack variety (if anybody knows the fashionable t-shirts from Topman these days - yea I tend to wear one of them everyday with a nice pair of jeans and a hoody). Solution - buy different clothes but keep going to fashionable shops (Topman, River Island, Next, New Look).

9) Reading Material - I plan to read a number of books this Summer to improve my Inner Game & interactions with people further: In Search of Excellence; The Way of Superior Man; How to Win Friends & Influence People; 4-Hour Work Week.

10) i-have-the-potential-to-be-great-in-bed-vt65499.html -- I Have the Potential to be Great in Bed.

Right so that's the current list of things I'm working on and have thought about. Just as a side-note, here's a list of things I think I could learn/do that would make my lifestyle that bit more attractive (yes I'm a perfectionist, I want to do everything I can to have an amazingly attractive lifestyle).
  • Learn to Play the Guitar & Sing: Playing a musical instrument and learning to sing properly and in-tune can only be beneficial.
  • Learn how to Draw: I suck at drawing and think it'd be a cool skill to just be able to sketch stuff that I see (Realistic Drawing).
  • Learn some basic Magic Tricks: Good for social situations, I just want 3 good, complex ones that'll get me a few "Wow!"s.
  • Learn how to Ice Skate: I can ski well, but think it'd be good just to be able to say "Yea I can Ice Skate". Also opens up more 'Day 2' opportunities.
  • Learn how to give Massages & Start to Meditate: Giving massages will be great for my ability to relax a girl. Meditation is highly rated and I think it'd be a good thing to start to get into to clear my mind, especially with the amount of training I do & work pressure.
  • Learn to Break Dance: I always liked Choreographed Street Dance and think beign able to Break Dance would be a cool thing to show off with here and there. (Not when Gaming).
  • Run a 10km Race for Charity: I want to do this, think it gains me a bit of Respect and I love doing stupid stuff for charity (have already waxed my legs; auctioned myself off to be a slave, etc ...).
---------

So there you have it, this is my progress thread for 'Building My Attractive Lifestyle'. I have lots of my life a head of me and I want to continue making my life fun and worth living. If you could help me with any of the bolded questions I'd be highly grateful !

Kind regards,

Prophet :)

Ok, starting off I'd just like to clarify that I am in no means an expert of the game, thus I'm just gonna stick to telling you the things I am sure of and leave the rest to the PUAs.

Sounds like you've got a pretty solid ground there mate. There are actually quite a few similarities between us (I think you can figure most of them out by reading my introduction yet-another-swede-with-a-fairly-awesome ... 68706.html).

Now, regarding your skin problems. I am in a fairly similar position, with an occasional pimple showing up. I've found that in average I have about two or three pimples visible at a time. Now, the thing that most people overlook, but perhaps the most vital thing when it comes to skin, is WATER. I drink loads of it, at least 3-4litres/day. Always carry a bottle of water with you, anywhere you go, it will become a routine, and aside from improving your skin, it'll also reduce sweating as cold water reduces our body temperature. Also, don't overdo it with the washing, as you might be drying out your skin. You can find tons of info about skincare, just google it. My top tip however is WATER.

When it comes to the tanning part, I don't really see what the problem is. If you want to tan, then tan. No biggie, just remember to avoid burning yourself at all costs, and take care of your skin after tanning.

And yes, I agree, it sucks to be below average height.

Oh and regarding some of the other stuff: If you're serious about the guitar playing, get yourself a good guitar from the start, or you'll regret it when you've progressed.

And about your clothing lacking variation... Don't be afraid to try on new stuff you don't normally wear. I too had a very onesided wardrobe, but then I dared myself to buy a new sort of clothing item every time I went shopping, and now, ½ year later, I got myself a pretty neat looking wardrobe. Doesn't have to be anything big, a lot of the time I can go shopping and come back with say... a leather bracelet or something, just try new stuff and don't give a shit what people expect you to wear!

Hope I made some sense!

- Trices

yeah drink heaps of water...

and exfoliate.... i know it might sound like u are a homma, but exfoliate EVERY day.... is so crucial
i used to suffer from pimpes bad during teens... i still suffer a little if i dont look after skin... so im not sure if exfoliating would have worked when i was younger and in puperty..

but yeah i recommend salycic acid, exfoliate, and moistuise with oil free stuff

good luck
