I have just been for my first class and thought i would share my experience of it for people who thinking of doing it

firstly your not going to master it in one session everyone who was new to the class had the same problems learning the moves. so don`t think you can go to the club after and try straight away

the guy who was ruing the class was friendly and had a passion for salsa (in my opinion guys like that make the best teachers)

i found salsa is also great way of overcoming AA as you get partnered up with women eye contact is a must (although i spent most of my time looking at my feet)

at this class the women outnumbered the guys there was about 4 of us compared to about 20 women

it was also fun as you spend time laughing at the mistakes you make it`s also a great way to burn calories

Yeah you´re right. I think that Salsa is a great opportunity to get a better confidence with touching women. Especially because you gonna change your dance partners a lot. So you get the chance to touch a bunch of women in a pretty short period of time. That´s awesome to get some confidence in touching.

Another reason for me to prefer Salsa more than other dances is because it looks awesome. The way the woman twists and turns looks pretty nice. If you watch a good dancing pair, you will probably feel as audience a kind of magic - or let´s call it sexual tension - between both of them.

And as the previous poster mentioned, there are much more women than men. It´s a great proportion for men, who look for beautiful women.

dance classes are a great place to meet women cause they love a guy who can dance. they even love a guy who just wants to learn to dance.
