I got this problem with 2 of my uni mates who ive known for about 3 years now. I arrange a gathering to meet up and catch up after a year of being away on a year out. They say they are coming but when the night comes they dont turn up, this is really pissing me off. Its not like they have any lectures or anything and its happened a few times.
I should say I dont call them constantly or be needy i arrange the time and day a few days in advance! - first time ive come across this
Any ideas on how to deal with them?
Regards
CTPE
(thought this might come under social proof and social circle building)

MY advice would be to try a few more times, then if they keep blowing you off then erase them. I know, it sucks because their good friends but it happens. I was real bummed out when it happened to me, but I had to come to terms with it.
