when i think of sex... i don't think of cold metallic objects that cause pain... i think of hot, sweaty sweet sexy time. not some screams of pain and blood..
It seems you've identified the fetish, you just don't understand it.
Also, this is a beginner's playkit, so I've left out things that would be really needed for any sort of blood play. The butterknife really is just the most common cold metallic phallus most people have lying around, and it's great for soft sensation play, or light scratches on a lover's back, it just FEELS like it has a terrifying sharp edge.
The "scariest" thing on this list is the needles, but they don't cause any bleeding, leave no scarring and are easily sanitized by pouring alcohol on them.
It's recommended that you try all these things on yourself first, before trying them on a lover. This stuff just looks and feels painful, and any marks will be gone in an hour or two.
However, I've known women that relish particularly nasty marks/bruises/scratches on their erogenous zones for days, so if you want to give her something to play with, and keep her panties wet, then by all means, leave a mark or a dozen.
This didn't get anywhere near the reception I was hoping for, perhaps it's just due to some misposting, or maybe I'm just genuinely an irredeemable pervert. If someone wants, I'm willing to try writing an article on introducing this sort of thing to your vanilla lovers, or ways to test the kink potential of particular play mates.
