Ok, met this person seemed to hit it off really well with her.. we were texting each other all the time. Then i did the stupid mistake and I know it was stupid. I told her I liked her... She goes "umm I kinda like someone else.... I dunno I'm not that good with guys"

I took that as a no and simply moved on. However since then she has been constantly texting me. I have started to ignore her and she still texts me asking when I am ignoring her. I am reading into this too much and she is just trying to be friendly? I am seeing her a week saturday, should I leave it to then or should I reply?

It was a mistake, yeah. You could have salvaged it a bit with proper C&F, perhaps, but too late now. Personally, I'd give replies indicating you're not 'ignoring' her, just busy with the rest of your social life, if possible. Eg;

"Sorry, left my phone at a mates' place, he only just found it"

Then resume texting at a reduced rate. Don't ignore her, that's only drawing attention to the fact that she's blown you off which isn't good. The above excuse will get you out of trouble assuming you've been completely ignoring her, but otherwise I'm sure you can come up with something yourself. Remember, the best revenge is living well, so your responses should indicate that you're doing exactly that and hanging out with other people.
