college (upper high school) tips

i go to a UK sixth form , a type of college if your in the US its for ages (16 to 18) and is followed by university

i compared my time at sixth form with my time out and at partys and ive noticed

out of college:
im alpha
im noticed
never run out of things to say

in college:
im more reserved
less dominent
run out of things to say
and am very conscious of what im doing

any tips?

i have the same problem
most people at my school knew each other before school started. they already had their cliques before i ever had a chance to meet them. so the environment does not feel as comfortable
