ever since i really started talking to girls, theres been one thing that i've noticed i would do. a lot of times i would say something that would sound serious, but i would mean it jokingly.

an examples like ..

me: hey thatnks for eating all my cookies last nite
her: haha sorry, but those cookies were so good. we'll come over and bake more for you sometimes

now the old me would always be like "o, thats alrite i made them so that ppl could eat them anyway" and i would always do this, countelss numbers of times because i always thought that i like "offended" the girl and she felt like she had to make up for it. I even felt mean when they would apologize. but i'm starting to htink i'm going about this wrong, and i shouldn't think in that respect anymore.

so what would everyones advice be about how to handle situations like this?

I think it was David D that said "Never stop a woman from doing something nice for you." That's rule has helped me out countless times.

Basically sometimes women think that they are losing you and therefore have to do something to win you back. If you don't let them win you back, they either think you too easy to get, or aren't interested in them enough to want to see them more. It's a way for them to flirt with you, and a way for them to prove themselves to you. You have the easy job, let them.

I definitely agree with Kalel. If she wants to do something for you, let her, and simply say "thank you". It's okay for her to be a bit submissive, as long as it doesn't allow her to be walked all over. That's not cool.
