Ok so Im sure alot of you guys have experienced this before and i was wondering how you got over it. I have been going out quite often (4-5 times a week) without any canned lines or storys, and i cant seem to hook girls into a conversation very easily. when i do hook them in to a conversation everything goes great and i usually go on an instadate or at least get a number (by the way im doing day game, im only 19 so cant get into clubs). so im just wondering if i should tryout a canned opener or if their are any other suggestions that would help me get better at getting to the "hook point".

With more natural games, there are a couple things at play:

1) You are relying on yourself and being a cool motherfucker to pull women into conversation. This won't work for all women, but for the women it does work for, it'll work like magic, because they are legitimately interested in you.

2) Bump up your lifestyle. Part of being cool is living a cool life. It will give you extra confidence and plenty to discuss. It will also give you merit points if you have cool hobbies and a cool job.

I usually stick to things that are topical or ask them about something I notice with their wardrobe or body. Band shirt? Ask about the band? Tattoo? Compliment it, ask where they got it done. Etc. This is an easy, relaxed and low threat level in that gives you a chance to build yourself up on your personality.

One thing I do, especially with day game is before I actually go out I kinda know what I want to open with. Not a canned opener per se, but something that I know I want to talk about. One example I had just bought a new e-cig at the mall as I was planning on quitting smoking. I would actually talk to the girls about this e-cig show it to them and almost all the interactions went really. Now an e-cig opener is a really shit opener, the reason I believe I had so much success with it is because I was genuinely interested in the conversation. If I open and I can tell she isn't feeling it I will in many cases just say "nah you are really cute I just made that up." That works well for me because I am very direct. I would really like to urge you to stay away from canned material, not because canned material is bad but, you won't ever really develop your true self. It's fine to have some backup material when you first start but don't plan on using it, just pull it out when you are whiffing it.

Try being extremely witty and emphasize the 'us' mentality
