Basic situation is I'm an Account Manager for a large firm. I have 2 people who work for me and one of my work mates has hired 2 new people to work for him. One of them is a beautiful girl that I attend on trying to get with.

Right now she would probably see me as one of her bosses and slightly jokey character, as I'm usually one of the jokers in my office. I have broken the ice with her and just introduced myself, asked what she's been doing beforehand, previous work experience etc... but felt a little like a beta for the first time in a while just cause I was overwhelmed with what she looked like.

I'm thinking of asking her to lunch but I feel like its too soon and she will say no. I ALWAYS push things along quite quickly in so far as I play a numbers game. With this girl however I actually want to do things right because I want her in particular. Any advice on how to proceed?

Getting down to business, my advice would be to meet her in a social setting without any co-workers present, that would greatly reduce your chances. Make your interest known, there is no point in hiding it, especially in this situation. If she wants to meet you, that's fine, if not, don't push it... You have a good DHV in front of her with your job and all, she may already be attracted to you...
How to invite her... talk about some fun stuff tht you do in your spare time and when she's interested, ask her to join you... I have taken girls horseback riding, to the shooting range, for ATV rides in the forest and even flying light aircraft... If you get the adrenaline running, it will increase your chances with her... Hey man, as Redlight said it isn't the best idea if she's going to be around a lot.

Seen as she's new and may see you as a boss it's probably too early to ask her out for lunch. Are you looking for something serious or just to get your leg over? If the latter, I'd go against it as it could cause un-necessary headache and complications.

If you still wish to proceed, be yourself! Be confident, kino and be alpha. Give her a reason to want to date you or go for lunch.

Cheers guys, this girl would be more gf material. I definitely see what you are saying about not shitting where you eat Cheers Redlight that was exactly the answer I was looking for, and thanks for confirming its too early to ask her to lunch. I may as well play this one reasonably slow, its not like she is becoming my mate, I just say hi to her occasionally and assign her work so I'm in no danger of being friendzoned.

in my opinion if you want a girl from work, do it the formal way, just ask her out under the pre-text of a date

it's simple, it's easy, and you find out quickly if she is interested or not, if not you know to drop it and if she is up for it you can proceed to escalate on the date without having to worry about your standings at work

it is probably a shitty idea to go for a girl at work because of all the scenarios that can result from this (most being negative), how ever you can't help who you want to get with, but you should probably consider seriously not using your workplace if it could jepordize your career

What you do, and Im giving free info here, but just start out with things that she cant refuse.

"i'm going down to the cafe for a coffe, would you like to join me"?

The only answer she can say is yes, cause no, would make her look like a child.

Some girls will say stupid things like "im sorry I have a boyfriend" to which you could reply, and he doesnt like coffee?

Always look for non threatening requests that make it hard to say no, and you can work from there.
