Are you telling me you've never experienced the feeling comfort ?

oh of course that seems easy haha unfortunately this is a high school thing so I will stick to palm reading and making her feel comfortable. What would be some good push and pull routines?

My Cafe Strategies I usually use on first dates with great success:

Sit next to her!
If you go with a girl to a cafe, make sure that you get a sofa where you can sit right next to here. If she wants to take the seat in front of you, tell her to sit next to you. You might want to come earlier to make sure to get a good seat.

If you arrive early, bring your laptop.
This will help you from being in "nervous waiting mode".
Have a folder ready with some nice photos of you and friends where you can talk about (traveling, events, ...)
You can talk about music, show her something cool on the internet, ... (if you run out of stuff to talk)

Lean back and sit a little bit lower than her
I realized that if I lean back and my head is lower than hers plus got already some comfort, she often will lean in, slightly over me which is a huge IOI. From there you can start doing a lot of KINO.

- Gentle teasing punch on her shoulder
- Skin color comparison (you can talk about holiday skin and such when doing this)
- Check if she took her wedding ring off for you...investigate her finger
- Touch her ears with the excuse of checking if she got ear rings
- Touch her neck with the excuse to check if she got a huge tattoo on her neck..

Talk about this great movie you have at home
- Talk about about movies and tell her that you should watch a movie together. If she's very into it say:"Let's hang out at my place and watch 'whatevermovie' together.
