before I introduce you to my daygame techniques I´ll put a couple of concepts that seems that many PUAs are forgetting to write. Even if some people mention being in the moment, you really need a purpose and a justification of action to connect your subconscious with your body through physical actions and emotions.
But let´s go down brass task as Tom said and explain what this means.

This actually means that you need a reason to be there, a justification of all what you do there and a goal of staying there and being in the moment as you want to be. So fix a real reason to be there: study, work, read, watch a movie, listen to an specific album, write a poem...

How many times have you lost your drive while gaming after the course of 1 or 2 hours and several approaches? You come in as an mPUA and suddenly you are TOTALLY OFFSIDE.

Make that physical connexion and you will understand why after 30-45 mi gaming in the same coffee shop, you´re still full on... this shit KEEP YOU ON for hours.

Arrive early in the morning, good mood, smile, greet the waiters, be social in a relaxed way, chit chat a little with them, but don´t be the old man that talks about the weather. Scan the room in seconds. Don´t give IOIs.
Choose a place with good visibility to the entrance and the bar, your back agains the wall, that you are the first person a customer sees when she comes in.
Keep yourself focused on whatever you´re doing but use your peripheral vision. If guys sit by your side, chat them up a little... these group will either try to avoid your conversation, change place or in worst case try to bore you, to what you should ignore them after a short time.
You will take eventual short breaks: go to the bar/counter, talk on the phone and go around the cafe, go outside, use the toilet... create an excuse to walk slowly around the place but with a neutral body language..you don+t want them to know you are chasing them.
By seeing the counter and being spotted at the entrance you have the chance of chatting up girl that are in sitting groups and quite unaccessible when they are ordering and waiting. Here, depending on the girl go direct or indirect.
The waiters are actually more open to talk, and the can be rather accessible.
