And dont forget that all PUA teachings are made to make us into a better man, a man modelled after an ideal, which was there before PUA was even created. The thing we strive after is being a wonderful AFC.

oh man i'm such a phase 3 and completely know it - I'm slowly transitioning to 4 and can feel it but I still need a few key pieces.

i love this so much. This is what ive been trying to explain to some people on the chat lately. Ive reached that last stage and ive never been happier.

and thank fuck for that. thinking back on the past phases I cringe at myself and feel embarrassed.

Im really grateful I got there on my own though. People ask how I got to this mindset of PUA and its really unexplainable, however this post sorta hits the nail on the head. all I can really reply with to these people who ask is "experience." I couldnt imagine getting to where im at now by being taught..... I think you gotta get there on your own and its worth it in the end

Phase one was me on point. Phase two was pretty damn accurate also... Even though ive only been doing Pick up for a little over a year now, i feel like im really almost at stage four. Most of the time im completely happy with how ive come along, and content with everything, but because i feel i could be a MILLION times better with women i at the same time dont feel like i am anywhere near stage 4... its like im happy without being as successful as a stage four should be and at times i completely revert to old canned material when things go bad. just time and experience man. walk away from it all and come back and it you will just feel enlightened and refreshed. dont even think about old material. just take what you learnt from everything and move on as a person. keep experiencing new things in life and then before you even know it you're there!

I actually started in phase 3 and im still in it and doing PUA for 8 months now.
Although im sure this is fairly accurate for most Pua's out here.

I have been a phase 4 the entirety of the time I have known about pickup, I just like being a part of it because it helps people become sociable, which is all pickup is.

I call phase 4: "Mom was right". You realize as a natural that all the cliche things you have been told by your mother was dead on. "Stand up straight" "Smile" "Be confident" "Keep your hands out of your pockets"

In the end, all of you will realize that the simplest and most cliche advice on being sociable are the best lessons, pickup just helps deliver you to this point of understanding by giving you practice in social situations (go figure). The truth is that there is NO replacement for practice and learning over time, but you can't tell a phase 1 that. They need the false confidence and the canned material to get themselves out there and start the real learning process, and there is nothing wrong with that.

The whole idea of pickup is along the lines of "telling you what you need to hear, not the truth." Maybe not intentionally, but it is.

Yea I'm somewhere in phase 1 or 2. I've had some massive successes but my inner game is hit and miss, sometimes I'm too focused on the science rather than going out there to have fun.

Huge, huge, huge fan of any sought of "blitzkrieg" type approach.
