haha. if it were so simple, there wouldn't be thousands (maybe millions?) of confused frustrated guys roaming around the internet desperately hoping to be saved from their misery :).

I'd say the most effective method is a combination of taking action and overcoming your fear and at the same time getting rid of bad habits from the past (which can be a complicated, but rewarding process in general)
At the end it's a journey that every person to take on their own.

I'd say most importantly: experiment, be curious and HAVE FUN!
