Discussing WHY emotional state is so important in natural game will give you reasons. But you can not go to a girl and tell her "My emotional state is really important because people around me are affected by my state and I must maintain my energy levels according to the group dynamics". What you need is some information on HOW to get in a good emotional state. And when you ACTUALLY DO IT you will see the benefits for yourself.

And I want to tell you - most naturals that I know aren't giving a fuck WHY the thinks they do work. They are more into the HOW part.

After all what are you after? You want to know WHY you should get good with women or HOW you can get good with women?

The reason people use canned game is that want something field-tested and know that works, at least for some people. It is a crutch until you get more experience. You must remember most people start with crippling approach anxiety and anything that helps them to approach at all is good. Inner game comes later.

Personally, the few times I used canned openers it didn't feel right. I almost always go with situational openers-that always looks natural but it can be hard to develop a set since almost by definition a situational openers has to be improvised and can't be calibrated for seduction.
A good compromise is to do what good improv comedians do and have a general idea of what you are going to say but not exactly so you can tailor it to the situation.
For example, instead of using the jealous girlfriend opener use something similar from your own real life. Eg "I have a friend who just invited his stalker to live with him. Naturally she is creating problems with the girl he is really in love with-who happens to be the ex of his brother who is in prison."-(I defy a woman not to have an opinion on that, and yes this is a real situation). You probably know someone in an equally weird and comment-worthy situation.

The point is to take the core concept of the canned opener and personalize it. The point of the jealous girlfriend story is to get a woman talking about relationships, a subject find impossible to shut their trap about.
