I was thinking of what i can contribute with so i thought that i can show you a more psychological and sociological proof of the PU business and how theese things work and why. So if you want to dig in deep here it goes. To the rabbit hole!

Approaching and the haloeffect.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halo_effect
Your first impression and the feature you show makes a generalisation. Ex you studder, then they see you as an completely insecure person.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Affect_heuristic
What energy you provide with. Ex, what you talk about and how, beware of negativity anywhere studies has shown that even slightest negativity effects people and feelings.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anchoring_and_adjustment
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Association_fallacy
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Causality
What you talk about makes who you are. What you are associated to can be generalized. Like they think you are something else. Associate yourself with good stuff. Pinpoint who you might be. Ex -he works out, -he likes food, =this probably means he is a healthy guy who takes care of himself. Even though he can be a damn cokehead or someone who just does yoga and eats homecooked hamburgers.

Framecontrol. What is the general association how is the general affect for a person or a subject? How one thing relates to another.

How things can backfire whilst talking, you talk about war and then shift to food. The person might start thinking of poverty and hunger. You can direct a conversation this way to. This affects your offering to what you say and how you do it when you do it. This is connected to your other features as well like race. Ex if you talk to slow and just don´t present your manners very well you might seem as an arrogant, stupid mexican. This judgement gets stronger if mexicans just did a terroristattack somewhere. One the other hand. Are you presenting yourself well and mexicans contribute, then you might be mistaken for someone dominant and reflective even a person who thinks before answering. This even leads to which probability you have and what outcome your actions have. Even how your value is.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Labeling_theory
How we build our self image thru others. How past events effect our personality and what we do.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inattentional_blindness
What we notice and what our internal references to the outside world is. Even rationalize the past and our behavior.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Self-deception
Self deception and how we act and react to ourselves and the outside world.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Availability_heuristic
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anecdotal_Evidence
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confirmation_bias
How a person believes in their own reality and are living their lives trying to prove how they see the world. Ex a nazi will always seek evidence of his believes and world views collecting evidence. Ex that blacks have lower IQ, even when there is other evidence around. This goes for who you are and how you see yourself. How girls are and how they see themselves.

Medias influence on society.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Information_cascade
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Groupthink
Peerpressure and herdmentality. How a pack or peer works and why. Guess who has the most universal thoughts and who people go to for solutions.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stereotype
If an outside person goes against/with or is unrecognized by the group or the leader. Certain circumstances can affect the way an individual stereotypes. For instance: Studies have shown that women stereotype more negatively than men, and that women read into appearance more than men. Stereotypes can have a negative and positive impact on individuals.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Master_sup ... techniques
How some amogs fight their way to the leaderposition.

Note that all are connected and can be used in framecontrol. Even how to make a good presentation of yourself and be accepted by a group and even be the leader if you are superskilled. You always have to have the resources to back your presentation if you want to maintain control or be a leader for a long time. So Master supression is not good in a longterm, theese techniques work only when you are the alpha and are trusted or have a weak peer. Remember some people back other people down. So think if you act in a herd or group or how you know a peer or wich position you are in. Sad thing is that the techniques are highly effective, they go between the lines and are often unrecognized. So it can be an hidden agenda for fighting your way up. But remember maintanence needs resources.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victim_blaming
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychological_projection
A man can be seen as a source for anything bad that comes around by a woman even though he hasn´t got anything to do with it. Thats why men need to set the record straight. This can work in an opposite direction, a man can be seen as a source of good energy.

Note that there can be alot of errors, there´s much to sort out and wiki is not an real resource for information. But i hope that someone finds this stuff useful.
