so i just turned 21 in september and i realized i was completely missing an aspect of my life... girls. ive never been very social and was always intimidated by girls. so i decided to take action. i started researching everything on this forum then trying small stuff at bars but with little success. i still hadnt had the breakthrough i wanted. i realized the only way to get better was to keep going out and keep trying until something clicked. this is when i found natural game and inner game. inner game gave me the confidence i needed and natural game gave me the tools and they were exactly what i was looking for. since this discovery its been about a month and im a completely changed man, im confident, im social, and im very happy about it. social situations i would dread before i now go head first into and dont look back. i talk to many girls now, i can close numbers, kisses, whatever. however i dont limit these tools to just pick up either, i have better relations with my family and friends too. so my suggestion if you want to change is study in natural game and go and use it daily. throw yourself into situations where you have to use it and just practice. if i came from never even kissing a girl to make out sleep overs in a month so can anyone! i dont mean to brag but to share, it really has improved my life as a whole and im very happy with what i have become. has anyone had similar experiences since they started? thanks to everyone who participates in this forum, i still have a long way to go and i want to keep learning from the excellent community thats here.

So many guys hang out here and research all of these insane methods and formulas, get nowhere, and wonder why. It's the lack of inner game. I'm glad you figured it out so soon and it's good to see another person with the same ideology as me. Congrats and good luck.

your right, inner game makes all the difference. for example last night i went to the bar. i probably opened 5 girls (pretty dead night) and the best i got out of it was a dance from one of them. none of them were really hooking. before i would have been discouraged a lot by this, and i would have come back and though about how much i suck as i fall asleep. now, rather than sulking about it, i look at it in a more realistic perspective. i view it as practice. i didnt get any girls but i did put effort into it and learned somethings. i have no negative thoughts, im just happy to have had the opportunity and im looking forward to the next time i go out. and i think that is exactly what makes the difference.

yea man. you can have the best materials, routines, openers etc in the world.. but without good inner game, all these materials will be useless as well... on the other hand even if you have lousy materials while you have extremely good inner game.. you will be able to hit off pretty well.. just that with proper understanding of outer game it will skyrocket your game..

I guess what I wondering about is what your catalyst was, with me it was definitely oneitis but it was funny, as time went by my motive became my handicap. It took a tarot card reading to get my mind right. =]

i was and AFC with very few women and caught one-itis easily. after the last case is where i decided to change things. also i highly recommend stormys post on inner game... that had to be the biggest help ive had so far.

I think game is a lot like taking a test. Sure, you can memorize a bunch of equations (i.e. routines/tricks/etc.), but if you don't actually understand the material, you aren't really bettering yourself by taking the test. On the other hand, if you actually understand the material (gain confidence/natural game/inner game), that is something that you can apply throughout the rest of your life.
