Firstly id like to give a little background on my problem. I will try and keep it short.

I have a very close circle of mates, there is one mate in our circle who steals all the attention. Now he is a good looking lad, but his game, his conversation skills, his confidence ouzes out of him, its actually quite inspiring to see/hear him work. Recently though he split with his gf and now whenever we go out hes just an absolute animal, stealing all the limelight from the rest of us. To put it in persective, sinse his split with his gf hes slept with 12 finest of the fine women, each time i have been with him, and i have seen how he achieves it.

His latest conquest is a very good example of what i mean. So there is a group of very good looking blondes at the bar. I had been exchanging eye contact/smiles with one of them for at least 10 mins. So i decide to try and spark convo. So after waiting til they are in close proximity i opened with: "excuse me, not going to lie, ive seen someone else wearing your dress tonight" She replied with "oh really she must have good taste then" so i followed with " Yeah no doubt, i would say however, it looks much better on you" - She smiled and we quickly got talking. I then asked if her mates are going to join, she calls them over. Then my mate comes in. He quickly (somehow!) managed to divert the convo from me to him. He did it simply by asking what she did for a living then she asked him and he was like "im a male escort actually, im in very popular demand at the moment, i may be all booked up tonight, but MAYBE if you play your cards right i could squeeze u in" - She seemed to love it instantly. Hes just so good and chatting up girls, he seems to say the right things at exactly the right time. HE ended up getting her number that night and has since met up with her.

Im just wondering if theres anyway/tactics to keep the attention, quite clearly she was interested at me in the beginning, i just lost out perhaps because my convo wasn't as good as my mates. Is that really all it was? I'm not sure but its quite annoying sometimes.

1) punch him in the face for being a terrible wing

2) stop going out with him when you go sarging so that you can build up your confidence so much that you will steal his spotlight

Exaggerat things and say stuff like "god you have suddenly got good game no" smirk and say "isn't he amazing" if he says he's a male escort say something like "no you aren't there's no reason to lie" you have to start getting competitive
