Yes i could use help on my DHV but its alright for as lil experience i am.. my question is whats the best move after neg'n a girl, but she throws a shit test at you an wants a compliment before your "able" to continue talkin to her? For example ill neg a girl an she'll step back ( smiling an all) but in order to continue talking or continue rapport you need to compliment her good or condradict your neg in order for her to feel like your worthy of talking too? Im not insulting her or anything but how should i go about my "pull" in order for my neg to be flirty an fun rather than go about sayin "im kiddin...blah blah"? It is a good neg but this girl shit tests me every time i neg an i run out routine after the 2 or 3rd neg.
Being new to the game i dont want to DLV myself in order to keep talkin..shes a damn HB 6.5 but gots the attitude of a HB 10. Hahah

If you neg a girl, don't wait to see her reaction/response. You just move on to another subject. DO not react!

If she gets mad, then you have gone too far with your negs....

She didnt get mad. You could say she gamed me lol the negs worked good i think im just a lil sketchy on my push/pull.

I was negging a HB8 a couple of weeks back and I think the original intention was successful (captured her attention, made her laugh....)

Then she responded with "aren't you going to be better to me?"

which I assumed was an opening for the pull....

But it seems anti-game to rush in with compliments there. I have difficulty (assuming like OP, which is why I jumped in on this thread) with transitioning from that to the nice portion. I almost stay in neg mode too long.

Any ideas?

Negging is really helpful because it gets her to reevaluate how the two of you are interacting. She takes a look at her own value compared to yours and has to reposition it. If you, after a neg, aren't interesting, you have even lower value, as a dick that just insulted her. That said, you have a fantastic opportunity to pull her back in. Try a cold read or DHV story right after your neg. She'll see how much value you have, and begin to pursue you.

Apologies for the very basic questions (I don't claim to have the knowledge/game that most people on here have) but what are some examples of cold reads?

Or even a DHV story? Sure, I know what DHV is... but how would you personally integrate that into what you're doing?

Don't worry, most people on here definitely don't have game (mine's not great).

A cold read is in the format of "You are ____" An example after an opener would be "Oh, you think Mick Jagger is hot?? So you must be the wild party girl and you're the sweet one."

When done in longer and more penetrating ways, they really help you connect with people. There's tons of literature on them, even outside of pick up. Psychics and such use them a lot, look it up!

A good trick to link into a DHV story even if it's a little out of context is to claim that it's recent. "So you'll never guess what happened to me yesterday while you were [doing whatever she said she was doing yesterday]"
Another is to claim that she reminds you of something in the story. "Oh my god, the way you laughed just then, it reminded me exactly of this girl I once met blah blah"
Don't force your DHV stories in, it makes things awkward. But practice and you'll start to feel when the rhythm of the interaction is right for it.

I learnt from on this site was to somehow set it up so the girl would ask you a question about whatever you may want to use to DVH yourself a little. That way you can brag but not go over the top of course an she asked you.
It kind of works well for me just need some more practice an critecting
