Ive been practicing my push pull on f.b. giving me time to think about my reaction and getting good. thanks to my coach all is well here and i have several h.b.s who im friends with (including a qualified pole dancer).
Now, I struggle with holding a long conversation with a girl in the street on day game as of course I don't have the benefit of thinking for half an hour for a good reply lol.
So i thought watch some dating pro (Alex Coulson) on u-tube and see how he does it. See I thought that being a musician, I can learn off by heart a song beat for beat- it takes me a couple of months to learn it properly, but I then know it inside out and upside down and don't have to think about it- its just there.
So seeing as me leading a conversation with anyone let alone a hb in the street, as I usually am a reactive person not a pro-active, is something i am currently unable to do, I could learn say a 3 minute number close convo,(which I am doing in the same way I learn to play a song), word for word, study its structure, its chunks , its points where when the convo stops, he starts it up again (leading), and tailor this in a specific situation I know I will be in when I meet and start a conversation again (in this case walking along the street in daytime and asking a girl for directions).
I've been on this for a week now and I am slowly memorizing the conversation word for word and feeling it bubble up to my conscious mind on demand slowly but surely.
The thing what brought me to this conclusion about why so many guys say that they just don't know what to say is that its not the fact they don't know what to say, its because in the moment when it really matters, the words just don't appear in the mind. Like when you say to someone 'oo- I know that song, and then go up say in a pub and pick up a guitar and then realize - DO YOU FUCK know that song! You think you do until you actually have to get up and play the fucker lol. I know.
I don't see anywhere on this forum any methods on being taught how to remember stuff so that YOU KNOW it will be there in your head when you need it- ie face to face with the girl. Alex Coulson and nearly every PUA says - 'have a routine stacked up and ready to go'- well how the fuck can that be done without the merciless drumming in of hundreds of times of going over the same thing- and most of us don't have the luxury of practicing on hundreds of girls to get this right- it HAS to be practiced at home first- BE PREPARED! PRO- ACTIVE!. I wouldn't fucking go to a gig and say - YEAH I KNOW ALL THESE SONGS and start trying to play them and fuck up but then rely on getting loads of gigs to practice on until i got it right- NO I'd practice at home on my own, and then with mates in a practice hall till i was CONFIDENT that I knew those songs well enough to play to the audience (in front of the girl). SO I have mp3'd the conversation from one of Alex Coulson's u-tube live recordings, am going to memorize how he leads the conversation- and the beauty is because he is LEADING the interaction- it is possible to play this through with any girl because whatever she says, he reacts to for a sentence or two, or has a funny story, then he goes BACK to where he is steering the interaction, so I think its like driving a car just veering round the odd pot hole on the way but steering back to the middle of the road again.
Am I right - what do you guys think? (not that its going to stop me just wanted an opinion)
