One of the girls I know and that I have been flirting with a lot I'm using this on. I introduced her to imdb.com because she didn't know the site. And now a thing we really do a lot when we talk is talking about imdb and what ratings movies got on there. It's become really geeky, like she is texting me "I'm going to watch an 8 now", but being geeky together seems to be fun to her.

I've had the same thing before with a girl who I went to Weatherspoons with (a really cheap and shabby pub chain here). We had somehow talked about it and had both been joking about how shit it is - a bit like a running gag like when something something was cheap: "Hey, this is not Weatherspoons". (After we had a drink there we went to another bar though)

So, the idea I'm talking about is getting some common topic that you can always take jokes out of and even get geeky about it with her. It's very situational obviously because she's got to be into the thing
