Here is a strategy that I have developed for another purpose but I think it has implications for the dating game.

Step 1: Build up more and more emotional involvement, conflict, constant back and forth, etc.

Step 2: Freezeout. Remove the conflict. Refuse to argue or fight and become distant.

This strategy might work if you are intending on doing a freezeout, to increase the effects of the freeze. My idea is that people, particularly women, get addicted to emotional stimulus, even if it's unpleasant...

If you are intending to freeze out, this might not be a bad plan. Or maybe it is a bad plan, depending on the situation.

What you're describing wouldn't be so good for early gaming, you want her feelings and emotions towards you to be positive if you want to get anywhere with her. In a relationship having a willingness to walk away is always a good thing though.

Like you said if you have an argument or whatever with your girl just walk out the house or wherever it is you are and drive/walk away. If she lets you get that far

Another thing, never enter into a shouting match or raise your voice. You can argue calmly, regardless of how she's acting.
