Basically, i'm a postman and when i tell a girl what it is i do it just sounds lame and boring .

How can i make it sound fun and interesting, if that's possible?

Just mention what you do, then change the subject. Or you could maybe tell a story of something funny that happened to you while you were working?

I also rather wouldn't tell it. It's a game, be whoever you want.

If you must tell her, be like "nah, it's not like it looks like in men in black, the guy that sorts the mail has just 5 arms".

And do you remember that story when you once had to deliver that package, which was destroyed on one side (without your fault), and you checked what was inside and it was this set of creepy looking pink dildos and pictures of an old bald man in diapers?

If the girl doen't laugh about that, she never will.

Your hitting on a self worth subject so think of a way to make your job sound like your worthy of a beautiful women and tell her and convince her . i'm at same stage.

Why? Do you think making a big deal out of being a postman is gonna make a girl any more attracted to you? Or trying to convince her it's awesome? Mate, that's the worst thing you can do. It's try hard, and she'll notice.

No Im saying that if I talk about ANYTHING I make it sound interesting and convey the fact that Im desired by girls and have the traits of an alpha male etc so im not saying talk about your job (yawn).
Anyway details bog the main goal just get out there and get girls numbers and dates and stop sittin on the computer lol

What I do, I'm a cashier at a department store = pretty effing boring, so I tell them something completely outrageous. I say something like I'm a porn star, prostitute, stripper, etc if she seems more down to earth, and if she seems more uptight I'll say something like I'm a male model (I'm a big guy so it's way funny) or I steal "furious'" line and say I sell ponies. I usually get "Well I've always wanted a pony will you give me one?!" and then answer with "I sell ponies, I don't run a charity silly!" or something like that.

By thinking like that you're still gonna come across as try hard. You're still trying to convey your qualities and convince her. Real "alpha males" don't need to convey it, they probably even downplay their best qualities as if they're no big deal. They won't put any effort into making it sound interesting to please the girl, they'll probably even just say a little bit about it, then turn the conversation back to focus on the girl (I always keep it focused on the girl). I've been unemployed for the last few months (start my new job next week ) and still got laid more than I ever have before, your job isn't a big deal if you don't see it as one.

make up some other fun jobs ... for example stay something like.. im a dolphin trainer at seaa world.
