Guys so I've noticed I've fallen into a trend and I hoping to get past this sticking point with some help. I don't have a problem with opening (a healthy dose of ADD helps with that) but after breaking through the initial bitch shield, my mid game runs me south.

I generally sarge with a buddy of mine and a few of our openers revolve around his new profession as a piercer and my desire to get a new piercing, so I walk around and get the female opinions (or guys if the set were in has few) then after the girls realize I'm not trying to drug them, I call my buddy over, we call targets and isolate. The issue is after my friend isolates his target and I'm left alone with mine, she starts to lose interest. I don't think I'm telegraphing to much interest after taking the response I got from my last post to heart but here are some of the questions I go for once I have my target to myself

"So you seem like you like music, if you could only bring three band or artist to an island who would they be?"

"Hey I'm doing a study on sexual relations at school (which is true), so how creepy would you rate guys here?" I normally throw this out after I've seen a few failed attempt already happen before I entered the set

or just some off the cuff random question like "where do you want to travel after school?"

What kind of messages am I sending with this approach and how do I fix them to maintain my targets interest?
