I find myself been fascinated by a girl for the first time:

This girl, part of my new friendgroup, is two years older than me (mid-twenties), at first i didnt really care about her (known her about 2 months, I have recently moved abroad) but as time progressed i find myself attracted to that brick wall aura she has built up.

For some strange reason her main friend group consists of people that are much younger than her, she is extremly talented and has a lot going for her. We've been going out for a few weekends now and I am the new guy in the group (honestly we are chessclub buddies).

Any thoughts and tips on how to win over the smart, more serious type of girl? I'm used to talking to women, but in the past love has always fallen into my lap or I would use my status as leader of the pack to get women (which is not the case here).
