This happened with a 10 starbucks girl. She`s 19. She`s been giving me free food or not charging me for some things. I`m chatting with her and we`re doing the heavy eye contact thing. I`m focused on that one eye, but then... but then... I switch eyes! And a couple seconds later, I look up and to my left, but I still try to maintain some congruency as I`m telling my story. As she keeps the dead focus, I`m thinking to myself, ah shit fuck, I broke! Well, I still get only charged for my sandwich but not the coffee. if it wasn`t for the man behind me that came in, i wander if it would have continued. Hell, I was about to ask her for a number. So, did I fuck it up? I`ve even thought about going back next week, and trying to `regain` my status by not looking away first. But I wander if I`ve killed it. But then again, I also feel that maybe still, I may have llooked away, that energy and my effort may have been more than what most guys are doing, so I may just have a shot. What do you think?

basically, if shes dishing out freebies, she wants you. Why nwould she do it otherwise? To urge you into tipping her? Come on, that aint worth her job.

To be honest, I may have lost her already because just a couple days ago, I contacted her. She said she wasn't sure what she was doing yet, that she might go to a party, that she would let me know.

When my phone wouldn't let me text her back, I gave her a quick call. But then I froze because I didn't know what to say. I went shy.

Then when I got off, I was like, damn, she must have wanted to talk maybe to see how her feelings would leave her. I should have pumped some buying temp. That's just what I thought.

Then she texts me and says, I'mma go to this party, I'm sorry.

I didn't text back anything.

But anyway I did ask her out though, so that's a good step.
