I use direct natural game but occasionally I find myself repeating something to hot girl friends of mine. It basically goes like this..

Whenever a hot friend of yours gets a hair change in colour or style:

YOU: I like your hair..
HB: Thanks :)
YOU: But I did prefer it the way it was before
HB: Aww, your so mean! (Hits you playfully)
YOU: (Grinning)

Simple!

Another one of my favourites is:

YOU: You look nice/hot for a change..
HER: Your mean! (smiles at you)
YOU: (Grinning)

Simple backhanded compliments like these are gold as long as you pull them back in. Push/pull!
