i'm a singer in clubs/bars, i kinda look like jack black a little overweight not too shabby, just a fun long hair moderately attractive guy

i meet alot of women through friends and just fans from the crowd, so i guess ive conveyed value, they always compliment on the singing etc

but i just cant seem to breakthrough after that

i feel like ive gone from hey look at me on stage im cool see all these ppl clapping! to looking like a blithering random talking idiot when talking to one girl!

i always have this deal where it seems i dont wanna get into any of that because i hate it when people compliment me and try to make me feel good and rub my belly like a dog because they think i need theyre aproval, and it really throws me off my game.
