am i DLVing when i talk about me not having a liscense and never driving a car before? i'm 17, everyone i know that is about 15 16 have a permit or lisence already. its just that i really don't want to study reading the damn book that tells you all the signs, road markings, etc. plus you have to go to drivers ed class which i heard is so damn long and pointless cause they just show you videos of people after an accident. right now, my parents take me places

what do you think?

avoid every question that may incommode you by throwing her a question can be anything if they keep asking you keep asking them pointless questions i.e:

hb: what kind of car do you drive?
you: you have a pretty hair do you go to the hairsalon very often?

hb: so when do you get the license?
you: did you enjoyed the new blockbuster of this summer?

hb: come on seriously when do you get your license?
you: did you know that i can do a magic trick?

and when you are ready to share the reason of why you dont have a license share it with a story that tells her you dont have the license YET and that you are very busy or something

let me put it this way you dont share the way how a magic trick is done ONLY after the magic trick is perfomed and she enjoyed the trick
the magic trick is you you have to tell her all the amazing things of you before you tell her the not so good things about you

I'm going to be really honest here, you take that advice and you're basically going to DLV yourself even more.
She asks if you have a licence and you say no - that's bad depending on the girl (because you don't have a licence)....some girls won't even mind.

Whereas, she asks whether you have a licence, and you try to obviously change topics, shit thats even WORSE, because it looks like you're insecure and uncomfortable with the fact that you don't have a licence.

With some girls, this will be a DLV that you don't have a car, but those girls are Car Ho's...forget about 'em. Other girls won't care, if you're comfortable and just say, I haven't gotten a licence because of *** reason(s)...provided the reasons are reasonable.

But reading what you wrote as to why you haven't gotten a licence, I really think you are just making excuses with it.
You not having a licence isn't a DLV in itself, the REASON why you don't have a licence currently is a DLV. A licence is a step towards independence.
You rather get your licence and not need to use it, or wait till your older and need to have a licence, but not have one.

you are 17!!!!
For fuck sakes...how can that be DLV'ing yourself.
Just tell her you are extremely focused on other things right now and that can wait when you have the chance to.If you are like around 20-24 and you still havent got a licence then it could be seen as one.But many guys would come up with something cocky.

Simple answer : at your age it shouldnt be a big deal

Hey

I can say this, when at a job interview and the interviewer asks, "So tell me you're weaknesses!" Do you go ahead and say, "Well, I am late to work alot...I prograzinate alot"

NO! NOPE! NOPIE! AND NOPIE!

TURN THE NEGATIVE INTO THE POSITIVE.

So in her question, "Do you have a license?" Turn it into something positive and reasonable.

HB: Do you have a license?
YOU: No, I have been focused on myself such as getting good grades in school and really applying myself in other areas of my life.

This shows you that you have ambition and you're goal orientated. Next time a girl asks if you have a car or a license be humble but turn the question into a positive. :)

Good luck lad!

Hey man im around your age so ill give my two cents. I know a lot of kids without licenses. What does this mean? either they dont go out or they get driven around. option a isnt even considered which means your friends drive you around.

HB: Do you have a license?
You: nawwww (say it in a way where it seems ridiculous to have one. Like hell no i dont have a license, why would i want one?) but just say no, shell follow up
HB:really? why not
You: its such a hassle driving here and there. My friends will just come over and if we want to go somewhere theyll drive. Ill get one when i need it

As you can see, its much more of a DHV than a DLV

I actually answered with that truth once. Didn't get the job surprisingly :P
The correct answer is of course "sometimes I work too hard"

a lot of these posts are qualifying yourself to her.. it should be the other way round..I think what vizzy has had to say is the most field worthy post, the concept is good. your not lying, your not changing the subject (which will make it worse coz now she knows you think that not having your license is bad) heres what i think you should do the next time..

HB:hmm so you have a car?
guy: na.. (expression as if you dont care, hold-either take a sip of a drink, puff of smoke or just look around as if someone called your name) whys that?

HB: ohh just wondering..

guy: na really.. your not one of those car sluts are you? (have a smirkish smile on your face so she knows your taking it light hearted but still expect a reply, lean back or move back a bit)

HB: NO! haha just asking.. (or) HB: maybe;) (or) HB: do i look like a slut?

calibrate.. from here
but you could use this for any respnse..
guy: hmm you have that aura (hold again) i wouldnt be surprised.. (Smirk)
continue a new thread..

or if she says from the begining
HB: ohh thats gay why dont you get ur liscence..
guy: so girls like you dont bother me with.. (these boring convos, so i can sort out the hoes from the girls I really want etc..)

the main thing you want from this is to establish that she has to apply herself to you.. she needs to get in YOUR good books.. so dont lie dont make up excuses
