Intro:

I am an rAFC and I am pretty new to the game.

So there is this girl in my class, she is obviously attracted to me. So one day we are in lab. I am getting kino, mainly on the arm. We talked, flirted, we talked about some of our experiences, hiking etc... I feel we really did make a connection. She certainly did like, she also responds well to my cocky/funny (sometimes I feel I almost border on arrogance).

So the professor leaves and I start getting a bit heavier on the Kino, she responds well, keeps on laughing etc...

The main problem that occurred is that I pushed the interaction too far. I finished up my lab. I stayed there for awhile, wanting to talk to her.

H: (So if you are finished) Why are you still here?
M: Just finishing up.
H: Makes a comment on something about the number of sticky notes in my book. (I sensed a bit of disrespect.)

Anyway, it kind of ended where we got nowhere and I just had to go. Maybe she was uncomfortable being alone with me.

What do you guys think and how might I handle this better in the future with her (or other girls)?
