Long story short: It's finals week and there is a HB9 in my class I haven't had the opportunity to talk to much. Last week I was hanging outside class talking to another girl from the class when she walked up in a stunning blue dress. I told her I didn't recognize her and that dress looked great on you. She loved it and started the hair flipping + IOI's.

Any way to get a number tomorrow in class? I'm thinking something along the lines of 'I'm disapointed because class is about to end and I haven't gotten a chance to get to know you. We should go get a cup of coffee'.

Any suggestions?

What about: "So many years have passed and I JUST DIDN'T NOTICE you. XXX caffee is a very nice place to be in and I will go there tomorrow. Wanna meet me there and chat about good old times ?"

i was in an exam prep course today, and this is what i did:

-at beginning of lunch break, i went up to hb9 and her friend and walked to the lot outside with them (hour long, they were going somewhere). joked around about jobs a bit, but hb9 wasn't even making eye contact. either shy, or my routine was terrible (wasn't great, i know that much)
-at end of lunch break, friends and I were sitting on grass outside when we saw them across the field. i broke off and went to sit with them and we talked about the class, school etc for 10 minutes. made lots of eye contact and got her to smile, introduced myself as we had to go back to class
-after class was over, i went up to her as she was packed up and leaving, smiled, said a few things about the class and number closed.

all in all, i was very lucky i caught them at the end of lunch. taught me a thing or two over waiting (in the end, patience payed off)

not to be a dick but i wouldnt consider the hair flipping an ioi because it came right after an undeserving compliment from u. her reactions arent typical of an hb9. now that she knows u neg her or dhv the shit out of her then go for a number close.

Seemed like she just gave you the number because you were nice. You got up, left your social group and sat with them. You should've flagged them over or invited her back to your group and introduce them to you. One thing from Chopper's post I picked up is that when you introduce your target/group to your friends, say "guys this is xxx, she's cool". It validates the target and makes it seem like you're OK'ing them and you have the power to vouge for them.

That was a few weeks ago, what's happened since?
