I've recently bought David DeAngelo`s Cocky and Funny manual and from what I can gather he's saying you should be cocky and funny ALL of the time, only occasionally having a normal conversation with a woman.

I understand keeping away from all of the boring interview type questions and keep the conversation interesting with a little flirting but what I'm asking is after I've opened, are you ALWAYS keeping that flirty vibe? Or do you isolate the target and ask her `deeper` questions in order to build rapport.

I'm mainly going for F-closes with the party girl type, if that's of any use.
