ok..so I've been dating this girl, and for the first few dates we didn't sleep together, but each date became more and more physical. On the third date, she said "Can I ask you something?" and she said something like "I would have had to tell most guys to zip their pants up by now..." she couldn't quite get the question out, but I figured I understood what she meant. basically she was asking me why I hadn't *really* tried to have sex with her yet. I told her I was getting the vibe from her that she wanted to take it slow (and I had good reasons to think that), but I also asked her if she likes for a guy to take initiative. she didn't really answer that question...and I assured her that I do find her attractive, and that I was just going with the "slow signals" she was giving me. not sure how I handled that, but that's what happened.

It just feels like a no-win, because I feel like if I would have really tried to have sex with her earlier, she would have shut me down, and then it would feel like she was the one in control.

anyways, the next date we had sex, and it was great. I think she was just curious as to why I had so much self control, and I think maybe she kind of liked that I was making her wait. I don't know. any thoughts?
