The other night, I was with a group of girls and things were going pretty well after an opener, some negging, and general banter. Of course, one of them said something about buying drinks. Kinda ballsy. Anyway, I said, "I've got a rule: I only buy drinks for old friends or people that are special to me. You'd have to prove that you fall under one of those categories."

They all tried to prove how "special" they were to me which was great but I held off and came up with a new idea: "How about this? Let's see if we can get other guys to buy us drinks?" I was in.

They got some other dudes (who didn't have a shot in the first place - if they did, I gently teased them out of the group ) to buy drinks for them. The best part: They shared the drinks with me.

So, I ended up not paying a dime for drinks and walked away with numbers unlike the tools that bought us the drinks.

I like it. Always important to have a reply at the ready when she hints (or straight up asks) for a drink.

Make sure you remind her that you're high maintenance, and you're trying to figure out why she hasn't bought you one yet. Just be ready to get round two when she gets the first one lol
