Hey Folks!

Righto, Soooo - Theres a girl that i work with (I would say HB7) that may or may not be attracted to me. I know she is at least comfortable with me because she is willing to initiate kino when i tease her. To be specific it is mostly pokes in the ribs and punches in the arm with a laugh and a smile. She is always willing to talk and is usually smiling when we are chatting and when in a group and we laugh/whatever she will look at me for a few seconds. Also when we text (almost allways initiated by me) she give long, expanded responses.

Now, in my book these are all positive things but I cannot get her to initiate conversation i.e come and look for me to chat or come looking to me for help. Also she has never invited me to come along with her to hang out (shes a big cinema go-er).

She tells me that she has great fashio sense (which i teased her about simply by looking her up and down and saying "....really?") so, do you think that asking her to 'take me' clothes shopping (i do actually need some new gear) would be a good way for us to hang out?

So, what do you all think - is she attracted or not? Do i need to lead/initiate more?

Hi Dude,

my first gut reaction would be to say, forget a babe at work. it can be a potential time bomb when things go wrong and cause a lot of problems in your job.
if you really like your job i would not try to game her.
however if you are really keen and you have loads of IOI etc. etc I would ask her to go clothes shopping.
you could try "i am going to hit the clubs but i am not sure because sometimes i buy stuff that i think is great and it just doesnt work but hell you cant be good at everything. come and help me out in the mall on saturday."

good luck

Hello,

About what th post above mine says, yes work girls are dangerous, whether its a part-time or full-ime job. if things do not go well, it can get awkward, and your performance can suffer, as a result potentially losing your job.

However, that is a good idea about going shopping. This can give you an outlet to tease her even more aobut her suggestions for your clothes. However, with respect to her not initiating conversations, it could be that she is either shy, or perhaps doesnt want to initiate to send the wrong impression.
I would try a type of freeze-out. You limit your interactions with her, texting, IM, any contact you have with her. This will give her a chance to miss you and your conversation. You can give that try.

Hope this helps
