Hi! I found this cold reading routine on some other site and was wondering if you guys could help me out with examples of what to say at the end. the routine is:

"Those earrings (or X Y Z adornment) really say a lot about you (playful and slightly ironic)…What do they say?? Curious aren’t you. They tell me that (go into cold read)"

Cold reads in general or a bit tricky,
in this instance... unless the earings are truly unique, they probably "dont" say much about the girl...
earings are just another accessory... If they were unique like say, redwood plugs or purple titanium barbells, or something gaudy-flashy, then you have something to work with. And can build off of that into some routine, but as a "cold read" you might hit a wall with a girl looking at you and just being like... "oh yeah.... neat" and then turning away because your hook only lasts about 30 seconds and then what?

In my experiance I use a cold read as a hook and get away from it as fast as possible... because honestly, you could be wrong more often than your right.

These kind of emotional reads (cold reads) usually grab the attention of the set for a few seconds. If for some reason, you can't read their emotional state (turned backs, bitchy girls), then just go for the female opinion, followed by the time constraint.
