My wing says I have gone international. I’m not so sure. This weekend I gamed two women who did not speak English very well. The first was Brazilian on Friday night the second was Puerto Rican on Saturday night. This was not planned but I there it is.

The Brazilian (who was a solid 9 by the way) was difficult but not impossible. She actually spoke English pretty well but the communication was a little difficult. It was a two set where the friend was a little weak with English also(Cape Verdian). I worked it a little differently because I wasn’t sure how negging and showing less interest in the target would come off so instead I worked on building some report with the target who spoke better English. It seemed to pay off as they both began to open to me. It actually looked like the obstacle was starting to get interested in me so I switched over to the target. Come to think of it, I guess I did show less interest in my target early on. Anyway, the set progressed for maybe another 20 minutes. I quickly built a little comfort and DHV’d a little and ran the set pretty much like I normally would accept for repeating myself when needed. Eventually my friends came over and gave me the signal that they wanted to leave. I asked how we could continue our conversation at a later time to which she asked me for my number. I told her that wouldn’t do because I am very busy and that it would be better if I got her number. She hesitated for a minute and then I punched my number into my cell phone and showed it to her. She instantly called it. I told her I would call her tomorrow kissed her and left. The next day I called her talked for maybe 2 minutes and set up another meeting during the week. Pretty standard but it was somewhat unfamiliar and uncomfortable territory and it was a lot more work than I am accustomed to.

On Saturday night I ran into a girl in my social circle that was with her friend who is Puerto Rican at a club. Actually they are both Puerto Rican but my friend speaks English perfectly. Emboldened by the night before I began to game. Only to find out this one could barely speak English. I wasn’t sure if I should push my luck but she was a better looking then the girl the night before and if I did it once I could do it again. Now let me set this up a little more also. My wing sees the girl I know (if you get my meaning) and I knew he would have no problem going home with her. I wasn’t looking to f close but a number or kiss close would have been fine for the first night. The night was almost impossible though. Everything was work. It was like working with ½ a game. There were multiple IOI’s or so I thought. A ton of kino, she pulled me out to dance many times, which involved more kino but not over the top. There was a lot of eye contact on her part, she told her friend she liked what she saw and in my mind without any real good communication I thought I may be able to make some progress. Well the club closed and we bounced to breakfast (they followed) and then bounced back to her friend's house. I knew what my wing and his girl were going to do but since I could barely communicate with this girl I really wasn’t sure how far I could take it. Again I knew where my problem was I hadn’t created any comfort. There was no rapport. I never really got past the very early stages of pickup and I had no business being where I was. The two girls spoke and my friend’s girl asked if I could take her home in my wings car. I thought this was my out. No pressure for her. We talk a little I get the number and try again. Not that I could really have any kind of conversation on the phone but hey I had to give it a shot after all I got all those IOI’s right. WRONG. I dropped her off at her house and asked how I could talk to her again sometime (isn’t that a joke like I talked to her at all that night anyway). She looked at me and basically shrugged. I know you should never ask but she just didn’t get it so I asked for her number. She shook her head, I said OK I’ll see her around with her friend and that was it. Night over. Now I kind of know I had no shot under the circumstances. But I had done it the night before (although she spoke better English) and this time I even had a pivot in place. I had to try. No guts no glory right? Well on this night nothing for my trouble except some experience.

The question I have is how do you game a girl you can not communicate with? I know it can be done but obviously I am not that advanced. Anyone have any ideas? I don’t want to take away form this experience that it is impossible for me to game a girl who doesn’t speak English well.

Oh yeah you can save the learn Portuguese and Spanish advise.

well man ..i think thats the only response. I have the same problem when I talk to american girls, I just have to speak a clearer english, altough my accent sounds pretty good. Its very neutral, even latin girls like it

I have the same problem as well. I just moved to Japan, and its hard to build any kind of raport with a girl who doesnt understand a word you say. Now i havent tried any of these yet, but here's some idea's i was thinking of trying:

MAJOR Peacocking. Make it so over the top that it give the girls that want to get to know you a chance to open you, by handling that strange looking hat, or the huge belt buckle or whatever (i suck at peacock, one of those things i need to work on).

Body Language. Eye contact that lingers on a girl, but not staring cause thats creepy. Or maybe trying to take her out to the dance floor with a simple extension of the hand, and if she tries to say no, give her an extremely exagerrated pouty look. You know what i mean.

Learn just a few small terms in their language, then try and stumble your way through it with them. Like a cheesy, sappy pickup line in their language that you can totally butcher till they laugh, both because of how bad the line is and how bad your language skill is. They might even try and help you out with it.

Those are just a few idea's, would love it if someone started a post about possible non verbal ways to game foreign girls. And if anyone tries these, or has already tried them, please let me know how well / not well it goes/went!
