hello community, ive been visiting this site quite often just reading others tell their stories of their experiences, i find the PUA stuff extremely interesting and im a firm believer in its ability to work flawlessly, so anyways this is a little experience i had at a local bar i quite often attend.. before i get started, approaching for women for me isn't too nerve racking but it usually depends on how attractive the girl is, if shes a 10 i usually dont bother because i just dont feel i can pull it off LOL anyways, i was just wondering if anyone can tell me what i did right or wrong in this situation...

So im waiting in this massive line to buy drinks and behind me theres a guy who is literally 7 ft tall, im only like 5'11 so he was towering over me, he was really drunk and obnoxious and was standing behind me, behind him was a HB 9 (this means girl thats 9/10 right?) so im standing there minding my business and he starts talking to this girl very loudly telling her how cute he thinks she is and how he wants to buy her a drink and so on, so i turn my shoulder and see her reaction, she is not having it whatsoever, then the guy puts his arm around her and shes like "no thanks" and slowly takes it off, the guy was pretty embarrassed so he hoped the line in front of me and stood beside one of his friends... so i turn around and this is my conversation with the girl ...

Me: So i'm going to save you from this creepy guy in the line

Her: haha thanks so much, hes really creepy!

Me: Yeah you should expect that at this place, it gets out of hand

Her: Really? this is my first time here i live pretty far from here (she tells me where) i thought id try this place out.

Her: This line is taking forever

Me: yeah its packed it usually takes really long (at this point im struggling to make conversation because im literally blinded by her beauty, she was smoking hot and sounded really genuine)

Me: so yeah i live pretty close to here im come to this place quite often im surprised you've heard of it.

(someone dropped something in front of us and there was a little scene and we kind of separated until the line re-formed so she didnt respond)

Me: we've been talking for a good 5 minutes and i dont even know your name! im Steve, nice to meet you

her: Im (forgot her name LOL)

Me: So who did you come here with?

her:My boyfriend and a few of his friends

at this point im like :O damn! what do i do now, so i shrugged it off kind of, and now were really close to the front of the line, so i ended the conversation with , "yeah thats cool , well it was really nice meeting you and ill be around if anymore creepy guys attack you haha" and we both went our ways since the bar splits into two sides once you reach the front. ... the conversation wasnt very smooth, but i really thought to myself after that if i WOW'D her enough she wouldnt have told me about the boyfriend and maybe i could have got her number .. i told my friend minutes after and he laughed and said "shes pretty dumb she should have got a drink out of you then told you about the boyfriend lol "... so yeah if anyone had the time to read this massive post im wondering what you tihnk about this situation and some tips for next time ... thanks for reading

The fact that you got stunned by her beauty, and lost your composition by that.

As far as I can see you did not DHV any here, and you did nothing out of the ordinary which would allow her to make real notice of you.
You could probably have gone in earlier and proper saved her.
(Just smile and act like you know her, say something like "Oh, there you are. I thought I'd lost you", present your arm and give her the opening out. If your frame is good, she'd most likely take the escape route you'd give her.)

The conversation, except for the playing off of the creepy guy, was pretty bland... And an HB9 has definitely gotten something like it before.
So you probably didn't stand out much.

The Boyfriend line can have been just another shit test.
It shouldn't have stopped you unless she insisted on keeping to the explanation.

Anyway you could've gotten in with her, and if it turned out she really was with her boyfriend, you could see if there was any other women in the set.
If not you could eject with a line referring to the creepy guy, and how she now has someone to make sure she's alrite.

Im not too sure she had a bf. You could have continued to see if she had an entourage of hot chicks. So even if she did have a bf, you still coulda pulled somehting off. I liked what you did though.
Im not too sure about : What if the girl doesnt catch on and thinks you're a creep too...? I like the idea, but how do you approach her so that she gets the hint??

If she really was uncomfortable with the 8foot goliath trying to touch her. I'm sure she'd catch. Hey man, It's how you pull your jokes, how you represent yourself. Just with a smile and good body language, she woulda got it and i'm sure it would have been a smooothhhhh getaway. And yeah he was right. You need to DHV her and neg her.

yeah and also i imagine you having like a direct body language with her. Trust me dude, girls pick up on this things. Don't let looks intimidate you.
