Sup guys, So I went out yesterday with my ex-girlfriend and she noticed my hickey on my neck. She didn't get mad or even give me shit about it but started putting her head on my shoulder and rubbing my back. So I was wondering if this was a DHV on my part? Could I use a hickey as a DHV in a pick-up say at a club or store? hmmm really got me thinking. Peace

If I have a hickey I notice chicks will shit test me a ton about it. Or really any kind of "sign" that another girl has been there. I'd avoid giving attention to it if I were you.

If they shit test you its GREAT. A shit test means "i am interested, but i want to make sure he is worth it".

A hickey is a huge sign of social proof. Any sign that another girl has been on you (or a girl on you at the moment) shows preselection. If a girl sees that other girls want you, then it's obvious you have something to offer. I've done this to a few ex's. When we break up I will go and game a ton of girls and she will see me walking around with them, going to parties with them and it drives them nuts.

A few weeks ago I had mad hickies on my neck, especially the right side. A lot of the girls I party with regularly were being playful and teasing me by saying that it looked like a bear attacked me over night haha. I suppose it could be seen as social proof.

Speaking of implied social proof, I once read something about spraying some women's perfume on you before you go out. If a girl asks you about it...

You: "Huh? Perfume? Oh, yeah, heh..."

And just refuse to say anything else about it.

i went this whole week with a huge dark hickey on my neck, and it seemed to work out great. I got instant social proof everywhere i went, even from some parents of a buddy of mine. i was getting high fives everywhere i went, and i did get more interest out of girls than is usual.

The trick was not drawing attention to it. if someone asked about it, i'd say "what?... oh... ya she was definately a biter" and i'd leave it at that. if they persisted, i wouldn't act embarrassed at all, i acted like it happens all the time.

If the girl that did it was with me, i'd get even higher social proof (she's about an HB 8.) I would say, "don't blame me, it's her fault. she's the one that likes to bite". works every time

I would not recommend using a hickey as anything but a reminder of a good lay or a mistake when you were drunk. I got one for the first time in years last weekend ( I was pissed, I usually don't let myself get one) and since, I've been talking to this girl.... I went to the mall with her to do some Christmas shopping and she noticed it and didn't make a big deal out of it. I told her I was "rough-housing" with some friends but I'm pretty sure she knew I was lying but it wasn't used against me. If anything it shows that you're somewhat experienced, that you have been pre-selected, and if you're going to deny it; that you're discrete about your encounters.
