Hi guys, so I heard some advice from a guy on YouTube. His philosophy with texting women is, the only time you should be texting girls you like is hen you are arranging dates. I see his point, but what do you guys think?

Basically what he was saying was, you leave her thinking about you more because you're not blowing up her phone with texts, you might text someone you will regret, you demonstrate high value that you are a busy guy and not always on your phone, you don't seem needy. I can send the link if you guys would like. Just thought I'd hear some opinions. I've been texting a girl I met a month ago and have hung out 3 times with now so I'm not sure if I should try this approach at this point but I'm kinda curious to see how it will work.

Yes in general for the common newbie it's better to only be texting when arranging dates, because most will start blowing phones up. However this only really applies for the first few meetups.

I see it more of a failsafe. Because if you had to chose between letting her think about you and building up some anticipation OR you fucking it up with stupid texts due to lack of experience.. yeah, it's obvious which way to go.

That's not to say constantly texting each other can't work. It can. You just have to be better at it and not let conversations slip into boring smalltalk.
