| Heys guys, gonna keep this real simple and short. Some girl I knew in high-school (met through mutual friends, always hung out with a group never alone) has recently been texting me. She wants to go with some of her friends to a bar and then back to a house later. Seems harmless right? Here's the things I'm concerned about:
1) I haven't talked/hung out with this girl in a solid year and a half and I don't know any of her friends, guys or girls, and I don't know how many are even going- and frankly, we barely knew eachother in the first place- one of those facebook friendship kind of deals (which is pitiful I know)
2) Her intentions are unclear, she wants me to come with them, drink, but I don't feel like anything is guaranteed (no major flirting, winky faces, im working on pure text game rn) and that I may have to deal with other dudes competing at the bar
3) I'm flying solo. She says there may be a few extra girls and I should bring friends- asked a few but they bailed last minute
So what should my strategy? I'm supposed to head over to one of her friends houses (who I don't know) meet up and pre-drink a bit, then we all head to the bar. I literally don't think I have anything in common with this girl, and I have no idea what I'm walking into (could be like 5 dudes 2 girls I have no idea). I'm a funny, charismatic guy but I'm looking for some tips to stay alpha, make everyone comfortable around me and eventually take this girl home later that night. I hopefully won't have to deal with competition at the bar, but if so, what do I do? Also, I can't dance for SHIT, so if it comes down to awkward bar situations I'm not sure how to handle it. Normally I'm great at this stuff but I'm heading to a bar I've never been to or heard of, with people I barely know.
Tips, suggestions, stategies, anything?
