So I got a match today and I tried one of the openers I read about here since it seemed really funny, I'll post the conversation and tell me where did I go wrong.

Me:its over between us..
Her:it was good while it lasted though ,fosho
Me:(name) please don't make this harder than it already is..
Her:you always make it about you, how do you think i feel about the whole thing?

Bla bla bla we keep going with this imaginary conversation and at the end i said

Me:But hey I gotta hand it off to you, this is the longest it has ever dragged on hahah
Her:your relationship or the opener?
Me: hahah I wouldn't call it an opener, but definitly not the relationship, but seriosuly now I would give this another chance talk things out
Her: yeah a bit more of a closure to be honest, but I'm willing to do that; i suppose we both spoke somewhat brashly
Me:Hate to admit it, but I think we both had to get it off our chests
Me: when are you free? would prefer talking it out over a few drinks and a nice meal

But then she didn't reply and I didn't text back..any feedback? I thought it was going ok

You gave up the game before she did. That's my experience with roleplay, especially early in the interaction: if she keeps going, you keep going - and upping the ante. It makes sense if you think of it this way: She went from feeling (pretending) that you already knew each other and had a history to thinking "oh, wait, I don't really know this guy," RIGHT before you asked her out. If you want to get her number or meet up or whatever, find a way to weave that into the script.
